The AHmazin (not so secret) secret master plan

By now you have seen and experienced our initial line-up of products that are in our three collections: Beauty, Health & Wellness and Mobility. This is just a humble start for us as a company, we actually plan on expanding alot in the near future.
As founders, we have invested our personal life savings to start this company, and we strongly believe that the people of Kenya have the greatest potential, with many opportunities ahead in the coming years.
What problem do we solve?
We have observed that the Kenyan market is flooded with products that would be considered lower quality products in other regions, such as Europe. To clarify what we mean by ‘lower quality products’, here are a few examples we have encountered:
Kitchenware
Cutlery, Bowls, Plates, Storage boxes, etc still have sharp edges from production that can really hurt both adults and children. Also anything made out of metal seems to rust even though it is supposed to be stainless steel. No Kenyan wants to take their children to the hospital because their child held a spoon and cut themselves from sharp metal edges.
Electronics
TVs or other sound devices have lower tier sound systems, have fewer features and are not made to last. Vacuum cleaners are extremely loud and literally fall apart while in use. Chargers, adapters, extension cords are brittle, overheat and break easily. If a charger gets overheated it could literally cause a house fire.
Hardware
Door handles, plumbing, taps, locks, have sharp edges from production, have protective coatings that peel off and are not made to last. Homeowners and builders should not experience a reduction in property value due to the limitations of poorly made products.
We understand production of goods and how to improve them; this is not acceptable.
How do we add value?
Our goal is to support people facing daily challenges and to create opportunities for Kenyans. Source in Kenya, Made by Kenyans, For Kenyans is our ultimate goal. Domesticate what has historically been imported and make the seal of 'Made in Kenya' a staple of high quality and trust. By bringing production home, we create new work opportunities for Kenyans while providing carefully selected products to everyday consumers.
The above examples are from a wide variety of products to illustrate the broader problems with imported goods. AHmazin Ltd cannot fix everything all at once, but we aim to be an inspiration to other companies in the market while at the same time raise the bar of quality goods.
We will accomplish this through proven processes
Sourcing & development
By transitioning to local producers, we enable closer collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers, including on-site inspections and standardized quality control.
Testing & validation
Once products are produced we will ensure that every product is safe and matches our internal quality standards as well as regulatory standards.
This will be accomplished through proper training and access to quality tools and machines. Only safe, well constructed and long lasting products will be sold by AHmazin Ltd.
How do we keep affordable pricing of products?
To make sure that the price stays accessible to most Kenyans, AHmazin Ltd will ensure fair pricing with sustainable margins on what we sell. This will of course make growth a long term goal which we embrace as we are building a strong foundation that will last over time.
So, in short, our secret master plan is:
- Source from other regions
- Use that money to fund locally sourced production
- Use that money to create our own local production
- While doing the above, also provide products and services of great value to Kenyans
